Yup, right there where he apparently loves to be, …surrounded by girls! This was the 21st when his choir sang in church. He had told me a few days before that that he only goes to choir to see his girlfriend (his words, I swear!). The TV was on and he was playing and heard the word “boyfriend” on TV and he just stopped and turned to me and said, “Autumn’s my girlfriend.” Cracked me up. Unfortunately for him and his parents and both sets of grandparents and one aunt and one uncle, though… the little girlfriend was not there to see this night. I saw her one other time, though, back in October, she’s a cutie. :)

He didn’t really sing, lol. He kinda mouthed the words but I think he was in shock because he never would believe me when I kept telling him he was going to sing in church. He kept insisting they were going to sing in just choir class and Mom and Dad were NOT going to be there to see it. So I think he was surprised. :)

I think this picture was taken not long after my brother said to me, "I think he’s staring at me." I said, "so wave!" So he did and Elijah just grinned so big! It was cute. :)

Yup, that is Sarah! She was 6 or 7 years old, it was sometime in 2002. Probably early-mid 2002, actually. On piano is Sheila who was 12 or 13 at the time.

That was at the small church we went to at that time, we left later that year. The video actually also brings back some not-so-good memories. I’m reminded of some guy who thought he owned everything who I had to fight to get Sarah put on-air instead of his daughter who was on ev.er.y week. But, anyway. Not sure why the audio is so low here unless it has to do with the fact that this came from tape (hence the horrible horrible quality). Oh well! :)

I’ve been meaning to get E some for quite some time and now he has some.

Of course, when American Idol came on tonight, E had to run and get his sunglasses and the microphone and pop on the couch to sing along. Curiously, he was singing a song that reminded me strongly of one that my little sister had “written” and was singing with my youngest brother when they were ages four and three. It was about sunglasses.

ADDENDUM: and now that I’m watching CSI NY, I’m laughing. The cop guy just yelled at the suspect kid that “you downloaded that video to the website” — UPLOADED, moron. Then right after that, the kid says that the dead one wanted to be “an internet celebrity, an E-lebrity.” Am I the only one who’s not heard of that most ridiculous term before? :P

American Idol had five minutes to go and a storm blew in and took out the satellite!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Katherine McPhee is singing “Somewhere Over the Rainbow” and I just really am wondering how she’s made it this far. I am so sick of her now. I hope she loses. :P Seriously, I’m just sick of her. Fake personality and smile and looks of surprise included.

I understand how Taylor made it this far, he’s… different… fun. But Katherine? Blah.

I have just been getting more and more disappointed in this season after the good people were kicked off… Mandisa… Paris… Chris…

Oh, Randy. SHUT UP. You say the same dang things every time. Same to you, Paula. NO, everyone is not crying because of Katherine’s cracking voice and flat notes. Or, wait. Maybe they are. Just not in joy…

GAH! What is with this “bad day” song on this show? I am SO sick of hearing it each and every week. I liked it before they started playing it constantly…
