I’ve read Peretti books before, but never any from Dekker. The two come together to form this spiritual thriller. My mom was telling me that one of them started the book and the other finished, she wasn’t sure which one was which but said that there was an obvious switch. I’m almost embarrassed to say that I couldn’t find the switch. :)

House is about four stranded, lost people, who enter a bed and breakfast for shelter and to await getting their vehicles repaired. The house is lovely and is very homey… but things are not as they seem and soon they are all running for their lives in a deadly game.

Can they figure out how to play and win the game before it’s too late?

I really enjoyed this book and it makes me want to run out and read some of Peretti’s books that I’ve read before (but it’s been many years) and check out some more of Dekker’s stuff.

There’s some very good principles hidden in the book as well. Of course, to some people they will be obvious, but to others this book may be a good awakening/witnessing tool.

Check it out!
