Hi Val, I came across your site via babycenter.com. Your story sounds so similar to mine that I had to read every entry. My water broke March 19 (26 weeks 5 days). I was put on bed rest for the duration of my pregnancy. March 30 I started having contractions and a horrible headache, but since there was no infection the doctors didn't think anything of it. By the next morning, my contractions were 3 - 4 minutes apart and extremely strong. My baby ended up being born at 28 weeks and 3 days weighing 3 lbs and 3 oz. my due date was June 20 which was this weekend. I've been online trying to figure out where she falls development wise - newborn, 1 month etc. We did the whole NICU thing as well and I also lived 60 miles from the hospital. Our stories were so similar I had to comment. Maybe we can keep in touch to compare stories and encourage.

* dies laughing * I know that's frustrating, can only imagine how it'll be in a few years with my own son, but it is, at the same time, very, very cute! :)
