hmmm… what?
So I’m sitting here watching the local news and had a pretty good laugh when they, oh, so very seriously, stated that over one million Facebook users are participating in a protest. This protest constitutes deleting their profile picture in favor of the default blank profile image. Their reason? They don’t like Facebook’s new layout. The newscaster then stated that “similar protests took place last year but Facebook’s creator ignored them all.”
Just… LOL
It’s not only laughable that this hit the “news” at all, but at how long it took. The “new” Facebook layout has been out for, what, four months or so now? It’s also laughable that there are people out there who actually think changing their profile picture is goinng to affect how Facebook is going to look.
Morons.

That’s really funny! I actually prefer the “new” Facebook layout and I soon got used to it. I don’t think that people deleting their profile pictures will change anything; everyone else will just think that they didn’t bother to upload a photo in the first place.

So should I go delete my Facebook photo now, or am I too late? What exactly is it I’m protesting? Facebook looks more or less the same as it always has.
Aw, nevermind, I don’t use Facebook anyway.

People hate change for some reason and apparently facebook’s layout was supposed to stay the same the entire time the site was up? What a joke!

Wow, how would that make Facebook change their layout? People seriously puzzle me sometimes. Thanks for posting this I needed a good laugh.
