hmmm… what?
I’ve not had much to say lately, I’m not sure what the problem is. I sit down to write something and my mind goes blank, then I get distracted and never get around to it. Hopefully that will be over soon.
In the meantime, I had another photo shoot the other day. This time it was engagement photos for my sister-in-law and her fiance. The sun was very harsh but I think we made the best of it. You do what you can when you’ve only got specific days you can do things on, ya know.
Here’s some of my favorites:
And speaking of these two, she’s asked me to shoot their wedding which will be next Spring. I’m excited. It’s going to be an indoor wedding, though, so it’s time I go ahead and invest in a better flash than the pop-up. After talking to several other Nikon owners, I am going to go with the SB-600. There’s also the SB-800, but I think the general consensus is it’s not really much better than the 600, especially when comparing the prices of the two. So now I just need to suck it up and buy it and a diffuser.
I also recently ordered the piano music to Chasing Cars by Snow Patrol. Inspired by this, my sister-in-law would like to use that song as the processional in the wedding. It’s very beautiful. The music arrived the other day and I’ve played it a few times but I stink, I’m so very out of practice. But that’s okay, because I won’t be playing piano in the wedding. I think they’re going to ask his brother-in-law to play but I don’t know anything about the guy. I guess if no one can play the music, we’ll buy the MP3 on that page. Who knows? She wants live music though, but I think the MP3 sounds better than the music, you almost need someone who knows how to fill it all in and make it sound better, fuller.
So, anyway. :)

Can you please come and take photos in my wedding as well?! ;)
I have no idea when; and no idea whom I’m going to marry – but I do love your photos :D
The one where they are hugging is my favorite.
Hugs!

Thanks Anne! And I’d love to! Guess I should start saving for airfare, huh? :) :)
