American Idol ’08?
19Feb2008 Filed under: Uncategorized Author: ValSo who’s watching American Idol this year? It’s not nearly as interesting for me as it used to be but we’re still watching, though I’ve also not fretted if I’ve missed a showing either.
But I have one thing to say for tonight:
PLEASE get rid of Danny Noriega! How dare he butcher the Great Elvis’ song like that!! I swear, I almost fainted. Plus, he’s just plain annoying. Can we say “Drama Queen”? :P
Also, this guy Luke Menard? They said he’s 29. Last year I KNOW they said the cut-off was 28 (when that elderly man sang). What’s up with that? I don’t have a problem with that, of course, just wondering why they would have, obviously, made a change. And no, I’m not so into it that I visit the websites and stuff. :P
Ugh. Now this Colton guy has to go, too. Granted he didn’t butcher his Elvis song as bad as the other guy, but sheesh.

You just have to be 28 when you audition. I believe Taylor was 29 by the time the show started, too. Except, Season 5 rocked, and this is just… meh.
Luke and Chesizi or whatever his name is have to go. But really, the only ones I liked so far were the first Danny at the beginning, and Michael Johns at the end.
