28Oct2007 Filed under: Days Go By Author: ValToday has been one of those days that just… bah, things go wrong. I could sit here and probably entertain you all with lots of going-wrong stories from today, crazy stuff, but I’m in too much pain to worry about it. Not sure what I did, but when I woke up this morning my back was hurting really bad (yeah, let’s add that to the list) and it has continued all day without any relief from medication. I’m about sick of it to tell you the truth.
And finally, my server is due to migrate to Site5‘s new servers at The Planet sometime between Monday and Wednesday. So I’m downloading backups (just in case) to all on this server and I may use this as an excuse to go into hiding for the next three days… Except to those of you who love me enough to follow me elsewhere, of course, haha.

Heeey, is that webhost any good? Like how long have you been with them? I’ve debated on switching lately but I’m so weary with the sites being so big and all.

Karah – I LOVE Site5. Been with them longer than any host and they’re the only ones I’ve felt confident enough with to pay yearly rather than monthly. I rarely have any downtime and when I do, it’s very short. There’s a monitoring page for my server around here somewhere and it always says uptime is 99.984897qr89qe98…% Support has always been very quick for me, too, even for my many stupid questions. I don’t know that any of my sites could rival yours in size, this one uses the most bandwidth but I have another that is several gigs in size. Both perform really well and, yeah, I just plain don’t have a lot of problems. They also have their own control panel program, love it much more than cPanel, I can easily switch between sites without logging in and out of 50 different logins. Anyway, any specific questions, let me know, but yes, I love them!

Server migration is complete, it seems, but my back still hurts. More than one factor, I think, there should be relief soon. This is, sadly, nothing new…

RE: Yeah, does the Pagerank have something to do with how many people visit your site? or is it about the linking? I totally forgot haha..

PSS: My brother is having a show performed at a theatre, have I told you? He is also on TV today, so I had the take the pain and wake up @ 5 to go to school LOL..so that he can make it there in time XD.. so dead tired right now =_=;;
