hmmm… what?
I have a bone to pick with you, Motorola V551. I’ve put up with it long enough, in my opinion.
I know I have big thumbs, but that’s no excuse for you to delete my important text message I’m writing without asking for confirmation first!
Why, oh, why must you do this to me!?

Oh, I know! How annoying is that! All of my Motorolas have been that way until my latest one, the SLVR. Thank God they’ve added that functionality! LOL!
Happy New Year to you and yours, Val. :)

You have brought up an important point. Cell phones, just like email systems, should always ask for confirmation before discarding text simply because a button is pressed/clicked.
Phones should come with auto-save feature, saving any written text/entry/thing to the “Drafts” folder every few minutes or seconds [we should be able to choose this time duration].

Yes on auto save! Mine won’t save a text message draft at all unless I get a call or another text message and take them. If I keep typing it goes back to message, if I answer the call or read the incoming message then it saves it. But I cannot get it to save any other way (I’ve even called from my home phone or had Steve call me just so I could save something as a note to myself for later).
Mmmm thinking of June when we get rid of Cingular and I get a new phone… :-)
