No fun! I never really noticed how many people put their had near years... and the most horrible thing was that we discovered it on a holiday (the fifth of may, liberation day where we all just celebrate or freedom after world war 2 by going to free concerts ;)). All the stores were closed, so we could by the anti-lice shampoo. I don't know who the kid was that gave it to me, at the time I was helping out at a daycare centre... I think I got it from there. Luckily the shampoo doesn't smell anymore... but my uncle loves to tell the story of me giving him lice when I was little. He gave it to his girlfriend. Back then you had to put that shampoo or something in your hair and leave it in all night. Then he got a call that a friend of him was in the hospital and he was walking around whole night in the hospital while smelling really badly. I had head lice last may! No fun! My sister and I both had is because the new gym at our school had carpeted walls (about 6' from floor upward) to deaden sounds... we had to sit along the wall for roll call. Easy to see what happend huh? I always hope I have my kids in -5 or -0 years because then their age is easy to remember. But how could I forget my child(ren)'s age? Crazy thinking... maybe.
