But it has to get done, even if there is lots of manual labor, messes, and confusion.

So, while I take a break from my self-inflicted agony, I leave you with some pictures of my day, from around my house…

Stuff I have yet to go through… *sigh*

An order I’m preparing to mail. Still have to wait on the check to arrive though, so I’m in no hurry this time around. Yet another repeat customer though, so I’m happy!!

These little guys are waiting for Whipped Pumpkin Pie. Yes, Christine, I’m finally getting to it! I kept trying but the colors kept coming out wrong (they’d fit something else better). So hopefully one last color test today and we’re all for it. I still don’t think I’m going to come up with what I wanted though. :(
But this is my second to last case of jars – when I buy more, I’m getting wide mouth!

Elijah has made the greatest mess in history today. He even ripped the sheets off his big boy bed, which is a first (and also means that from here on out I will be putting his sheets on his bed three times a day). He has completely dumped out his toy box.

And he doesn’t seem to get the concept of “clean up” either. He thinks it’s just a song to sing. And then Mommy does all the work… Yay. Maybe I’ll leave it for Sarah to clean again. :lmao:

Look at that face! He knows he’s not supposed to be on the couch! And especially not laying on my pillows! I put them on the back of the couch when we’re not using them, the dog always gets them down when I’m not looking! I saw him do it once, when he thought I wasn’t looking, so I know they’re not falling off and letting him take advantage of them!

Such a poser. :cute: That’s my boy!!
Look at his foot – I think he’s got my joints.

Here’s to hoping that tomorrow won’t be nearly as busy as the Lady of the place says. She says, “you’ll get lots of phone calls… I hope.” And here’s to hoping that this weekend I can wear jeans to a fair, instead of shorts! C’mon October, get with it!!!!!

Well, at least Steve’s roses are still in bloom…
