Don’t want to do that? Okay, I understand. Really, I do. Seriously.
I would also like to make another announcement. Today is, indeed, my 24th birthday. It is also my last birthday eva. Enjoy it while it’s here. And no more can you sing me that song. So there.

Unfortunately, I think at 24 it no longer means that I get to do whatever I want on my birthday. That is, until Elijah is old enough to understand he must bend to my every whim and desire on this most sacred of days…

Say next year, after Elijah celebrates his birthday, he will require that you celebrate yours. When my real birthday rolled around last January, Abby insisted that there be cake, even though we don’t celebrate until June. So I’m sure he’ll understand sooner than you think!
