One night I was lying awake reading, late, and Steve was sleeping. Out of the blue, he starts talking in his sleep…

“I can’t get it. I can’t get it.”

Now, I love to mess with him, so I will often answer him, trying to figure out what he’s dreaming about.

“Get what?”

“The wire, I can’t run this wire.” (For those of you that don’t know, he’s an electrician.)

A few minutes later, he started again.

“I can’t get this wire run. I can’t get it.”

Several more minutes pass and suddenly he starts shaking all over and making this ah-ah-ah noise, his body got real straight/stiff.

I totally freaked out.

“What!? What!? What’s wrong!?!?”

He didn’t even wake up, he just stopped shaking, relaxed and said, “oh, I must’a gotten electrocuted.”

I lost it, it was absolutely hilarious (and, of course, I was relieved that he wasn’t having a seizure or something). Of course, this type of funny is hard to convey with just text, but when I re-enact it, we usually get a lot of laughs. The next morning, Steve didn’t remember any of it!

So there you have it, the requested electrocution dream. Who wins? ;-)
