hmmm… what?
More advice needed, please…
Those of you who hang around here know that the first weekend in May I’m getting to do my first craft fair deal for my candles. This one will not be like the others in that I only take the stuff down there and it’s in a room with stuff from other people.
I asked the woman how much should I bring down and she said how about 50 for the first day and if she needs more for the second, she will let me know.
I now have about 32 scents although not all of them are made yet.
So here’s where I need your help… Which of these do you think would be best sellers? Or if you had to pick 50 out of all of these, which would you choose?
Absolute Tulip – tulips, peonies and fresh green accords
Apple
Apple & Rose- Granny Smith apples and rose blossoms
Blackberry Brulee – blackberries, ripe plums, butter, white chocolate, vanilla bean, cinnamon shavings
Blueberry
Cactus Patch – citrus pink grapefruit and sweet vanilla blossom
Cappuccino Ice Cream – steamed froth and delicate caps of deliciously dark espresso are flavored to perfection with an alluring shake of scrumptious cinnamon
Cinnamon
Clementine & Daisy – fresh citrus notes blended with clean daisy.
Cotton Blossom – cotton, mandarin blossom and freesia, a hint of peony
Dulce de Leche – Argentina’s traditional dessert, a delicious, gooey caramel sauce
Eucalyptus
French Vanilla
Fruit Stand – fresh oranges, plums, strawberries, apples and sweet melon
Ginger & Papaya – juicy papaya blended with sharp white ginger
Happy Trails – cheerful blend of floral, fruits and big cherries
Heavenly Angel – powdery blend of musk, rose, vanilla, bay leaf, and cedarwood
Honeysuckle
Hot Buttered Rum – baking vanilla and simmered rum topped with fresh whipped cream, a dash of nutmeg and fresh sprinkles of cinnamon
Iris and Fern – gorgeous iris and hearty fern
Island Dreams – succulent papaya, plump mango and ripe coconut
Lavender Silk – classic French lavender in bloom on a spring day
Lilac
Lotus Delight – Lotus flowers, Daffodils, and various other floral scents
May Bells – the radiate aroma of lily of the valley and gardenia
Peaches ‘n’ Cream
Roasting Chestnuts – tender chestnuts roasting on an open fire
Rose
Rose Carnation – roses and carnations
Sage – outdoorsy and herbal
Spiced Pear
Strawberry Short Cake
(Scents in italics aren’t yet “in stock” but I’m working on that.)
I’d appreciate everyone’s input! :)
Thank you!

Hey, Valerie. I want to wish you luck, so good luck! Hopefully you’ll need more candles! :)
Anyway, I like the sound of:
Hot Buttered Rum — Sounds like it would be popular.
Blackberry Brulee — Sounds like it would be popular.
Cactus Patch — I like it, but who knows.
French Vanilla — Sounds like it would be popular.
I’m not a flower person at all, but I know a lot of people are, so yeah those are just my choices.
Have fun!
