hmmm… what?
I’m testing out the new photo plugin, hang tight!
Unfortunately, so far, it looks as if the photos will only pop-up to show full-size for me. I’ll worry about this later as I would have liked them to be show in the post. But then again, this isn’t bad… it’s easy to close the popup and it does resize to the photo’s size, and it would be nice for layouts that are too small in width for the photo, and takes less time to load… hmmm, maybe I won’t worry about it at all. I guess I just have a stigma about pop-ups. ;-)
Opinions??
Oh, you can get the plug in here: asymptomatic.net/wp-hacks.
And you know, I am loving this even more as I play around with it, it’s pretty sweet. By far the most involved plug-in I’ve put in, but not that bad.
You know, I use so stinking many plugins on this thing… I guess I need to make a list of all of them, what they do and where I got them from, huh?
But a good feature of this is that I can either use ftp to upload the photos and then generate thumbnails for them or I can also upload them through the interface. The first option is good, I’m a bit wary about 777 after someone installed that php script in the folder that I use for images for WP and I was not able to delete it, even from cPanel, my host had to do it for me. It was wierd.

There is a way to get the images to appear in your posts, too. In the config file, turn off the popups, then put a comment in your post that says !–exhibit– where you want the picture to appear.
But I agree that the popup looks good. :)

My scripting always fails to work so I can’t really give you any advice unless you would LIKE it to NOT work. :)
